Life's Tapestry

Living is something we take for granted In a moment it can fade away Fleeting is our very existence Every tick of the clock is a precious gift Since I was a child, I have loved life and nature The deep green brings crystal tears to fall A woodland is where I love to roam Pondering my life as nature weaves her carpet Every tree a curtain in hues of green to dwell Symphony's of bird songs drifting and the days tick Those deep shadows a welcome shade to rest Rippling streams flowing cool and serene on a journey Yet, the solitude holds a thread of loneliness just like life ____________________________ May 14, 2016 Poetry/Acrostic/Life's Tapestry Copyright Protected, ID 16- 790-564-0 All Rights Reserved. there are many that never get to see or feel the serenity of nature, as they spend their whole lives in steel and concrete..its good to see you find nature, it is a sanctuary where thoughts flow freely..good luck in the contest

Lovely weaving of the threads of life. Those days do go faster and faster; this tells us, heads-up and pay attention to all the beauty inside of us and out. Nicely crafted acrostic. Favorite line: "Those deep shadows a welcome shade to rest."
