Life's Revival
Come hither, you zither!
I want to pluck you, like
A goose. Head chop, drop.
Roy spat in his coffee can,
Teaching me how to drive.
Papa in a pool, took a dive.
Sally's grandmother, snuff.
The stuff life's made of.
Myself, I crave the curl of
Smoke, in and out my bod.
Next month, we plant sod.
Popi had a reel and a rod.
He'd go deep sea for dine.
We'd have fish, white wine!
I miss my mother's cooking.
She was smart, good looking.
Stuffing with celery, sage.
Things get better with age.
