Life's Portrait

In the duskiness of loneliness ; Lying me covered with a darker coat, Thou seeking a smile of gentleness Ray of joy, brightened the plot. Love that worthy, paid the price; Hopefully carried me to farther spot. Made me walk in eternal grace, Having holy garments solenmly white; Made a life of glorious days. Thou the darkness served without sight, Faith led me to something great.
