Life's Pleasures I
\\ //
Life-sapped,
in late afternoon heat,
felt and dried straw-tongue
emancipates from dehydration
slurping on the creamy smooth
Plush richness of fuchsia dome
Lush in blushing strawberries
Elevated hydration soothes
Added coolness so sweet
Served in a crispy dish
Upon the taste buds
Races life anew
Exquisite vice
Stimulating
Ice cream
