Life's Lottery
We all come in one by one
Through life's gates
To live it to the fullest
Some of us will not hesitate
Though some stay secluded
Off to themselves
While other stay busy constantly working
Like good little elves
As we all get picked one by one to pass
I set and wonder how many thought that life would always last
When actually it all goes by so fast
In the blink of an eye it can fly by
And in this life we all have a time we must die
So one day while your traveling on this road
Slow your self and lighten your load
Make the time to live a dream
Realize what it all really means
Look up a long lost friend
And ask them how they have been
Take the time to make someone smile
Set down and rest for a while
Maybe try a new food
Something you never have ate
Only then life's lottery
You will appreciate
