Lifes Curves

I alone at a old oak table With empty chairs all around I stare at the stained white walls With fist holes every few feet Realizing its wasnt you it was me The fragrance of perfume lingers It sinks in , your history Knowing i pushed you Into another arms Remembering our distance And how we fell apart I have some rails Now ill drive this train Forever and a mile To chase these pains away Doing for me, I was never around You begged for my attention and comfort when u were down Over time you gave up And found another man Now i suffer with with the thoughts With nothing but pain Knowing im the only one to blame I have found the tracks I want to drive this train I need you here with me To help find the way Leaving the past Moving for the future Always looking forward So darlin if you hear me Please come back home Oh darlin if your out there Oh please please come back home
