Life Lessons

Was I your lesson to learn? Was I just the pretty girl You had to corrupt? The Sweet, innocent girl you had To screw up for you to grow up? Why was it I was never enough? I loved you as much as I knew how to but I could Never measure up To you. Every way I turned, I was always a failure. This person you turned Me into is a shadow of the Girl you once knew. Now I’m just damaged goods.
