Life Is a Race

When an athlete sets for a race, He is determined to finish the contest. He may win or he may lag, But lays himself onto the track. Life is nothing but a race, Where we are our own adversaries. We may fail and we may blunder, But to carry the day we must encounter. As practice lays an athlete to be on the track, Our childhood nurtures play the same role. And when he sets for the race, It's our teenage to follow the right stage. When the race begins, It's actually our career begins. And while it concludes, We overcome all hurdles and seclude. 7/8/2020 STRAND COMPLETELY NEW(6), ANY FORM, ANY THEME POETRY CONTEST Sponsored by : BRIAN STRAND

"roll on" - great advice. Some can. Others, not so much. I myself am a roller

"heartless motherhood" - this truly made me stop and pay attention. "full of Mozart and scars" - you are truly outing this mother, and it makes me feel glad for to heal we need to reveal.

I think words are the most powerful weapons we have, and I believe you do too. Well done Francis!

"I am an ever-evolving creature of our Creator, mistakes, and all!" - this is such a great line. Would make a pretty hymn, James.
