Life Is a Pen
With a pen, you have the power
To create anything, as long as you will it.
Or not, if that is what you choose.
Every person has the opportunity,
To wield it as they wish.
One can decide,
To create a masterpiece.
Or to write complete nonsense.
To write something others can learn from,
Or something others will never understand.
Eventually, though, the ink will run out,
And your life will end.
It is up to you,
What you leave behind,
And that is what truly matters.
You can leave behind,
Anything you wish.
Whether constructive, or destructive,
Something beautiful, or something not.
A legacy, that will always be called yours.
In essence, each person must realize,
That exactly what everyone remembers about them,
Is in their own hands.
Written with a pen,
Because pens, have as strong a power as anything.
