Life In Solitude: Death's Accomplice

Living- alone I stand While in Death, together stand we Swiftly and surely they fade Hopeless am I wondering the fate of me No rapture in the future, For eternity I can not see Wishing the best of them Wondering how this could be Life alone lived Where Death I can see For I am his accomplice, and waiteth he for me Solitude- my fear While of my friends, I’m ashamed Left behind am I Alone to play my game Wishing, praying That he knows I’m not to blame They all broke the mold- I never fit the frame While ever so gently my body’s been lain While I await for my accomplice to call my name
