Life Hurts
life hurts on so many degrees
from a little annoyance
and unsatisfied needs
some of our hurts
bring us to our knee's
love and death are
so hard to please
we give so much
in invested trust
to fate and those we love
these connections to our perfections
may one day cost too much
it's not what we'd give
but what we lived with
someone special
someone that's there
and cared
no matter what the hassle
our use is proof
and not miss use
to ever be misstaken
but grief is who we meet
when our happiness is taken
