Life

Peaceful presence surrounds nature In the cool quiet morn Wispy clouds fan brushed decorate A canvas newly born Orange marmalade sunlight glows Through silhouetted pines Casting lavender upon clouds Making their glory shine The constant hum of crickets bright And roosters' noisy den Gives a pleasant orchestra ring To a great concert blend The death angel visited a scene He carried one away Now we all know that Ebola Can come here to stay Our future is more uncertain Will the dread disease spread Who will be touched next in America Where has safety now fled

The angel of death's arrival certainly does disrupt the peace and tranquility of our everyday lives. It is troubling to not know where it will appear next.... I did not expect that twist in the story, but it works to great effect. Well done, Sara!

we were warned that such thing would come in the end times. you really flipped the script with the last two stanza's. what brought that on? trying to make time for the soup job in the day and a lady friend at night makes it difficult. miss you john.
