Life
Looking back over all the years,
Coming to terms with my fears;
Knowing not a perfect man,
I do with my life what I can;
I wed once, it was good,
but she left, I knew she would;
then I wed a second wife,
she left too for a new life;
then my third came along,
we lived together, was that wrong;
for twelve years we did okay,
then she died and went away;
now I have met my soul mate,
always to be on my plate;
she inspires my all the day,
to write the things I want to say;
together until the very end,
my heart she will always tend;
now on the downside of life,
forever to be my loving wife
