Lies
Lies
People like to tell lies
And I wonder why
Wouldn't you regret the lies
When someone dies
The lies you told them over the years
Have come back to haunt you
Why couldn't you have just told the truth
And prevented such heartache
But people don't realize this at the time
Who they are hurting with their lies
They just say them
And then when they realize that what they did was
wrong
It's too late most of the time
So my friends always try to be truthful
Truthfulness is the best policy
Because if you do not be truthful with someone
It can come back to haunt you in the end
But sometimes you get those weirdos
Who don't care who they hurt
As long as it is convenient for them to lie at the time
It doesn't matter who they hurt
As long as they get their way
So I will end this now
It came from my heart and I hope that it helps
someone to realize
That lies do hurt people
Whether or not you realize it
