Libido

An extension of ones self, it's intrinsic
And waxes and wanes with the pull of Lady Luna
A function of animal, extreme in the alpha
Its origin is primordial,
Yet it's future uncertain
Presence of strength and dominance
Chemically derived, it's a useful tool
For the human race to survive
And nothing more
