Liberty

Liberty Authority might be thine and loyalty could be mine- I shall not live in doubt or subject Dignity to rout. * I'll love you thru an' thru But not put my Life to rue In "Friendship', we're joined Not bodily conjoined. * Friends I surely follow But then rue it tomorrow Can I be openly loyal To ruddy things not royal? * "..No man is an Island...." ** Which alone can stand. To Liberty I'll pay homage- A breakaway from bondage! **John Donne: To Whom the Bell Tolls. 228th Aug' 2013
