Levi

We lost our beloved Levi today, A family member in every way. Only yesterday he was full of life, Now his life was filled with strife. His spine was damaged from a leap, His date with destiny he was to keep. Hind quarters paralyzed but in no pain, The vet said he would never walk again. Heart breaking to see our lovely lad try, To come for a cuddle it made us cry. The terrible decision we now had to make, To end it for him, we struggled to take. He slipped away,like he was taking a nap, We felt such pain, he's left an enormous gap. Our two dogs at home feel something not right. Their brother's not there to play this night. So we end this day through a veil of despair. Our boy will be waiting when we go upstairs. For Levi November 24th 2010-May 4th 2016 R.I.P. © Dave Timperley May 4th 2016
