Letting Go
nothing i ever do
will ever be good enough for you
no one i ever seen
has ever been quite as mean
you tried to hide me
you took my soul
i try to forget you
like a memory hole
no words i ever write
will ever be so clear
the sun will shine oh so bright
in the morning when you are here
i cant remember the way you smile
please forgive me if im not back for a while
oh forgive me if its not clear
i cant remember what im doing here
in the morning in the night
down by the shore failing light
we walked along holding hands
singing playing with sand
words twisted in melody
life in staggered visionary
hey their girl are you free
you seem to be here alone
would you like to dance with me
and talk a little on the phone
hay their girl
it must be fate
you missed your train
you are an hour late
come with me ill see you home
a girl like you should not be alone
its so hard letting go
so hard to let go
