Let's Try Hell

LET’S TRY HELL By Edward Egbelo I was just about to pick my bag from the dusty floor she threw it when she screamed “Eddie where are you going to”. Oh poor soul! Wish she knows the magnitude of anguish my poor heart has persevered all these years. Of course I won’t allow my heart know more agony. It’s time to pick up the pieces and rebuild from the foundation. It has always been a lone journey afterall, with too much of turbulence and torments. It is time to go! My heart is beating like a midnight gong. But her voice is strong and deep like an ancient vodka in a sailor's throat. My eyes are soaked, am sniveling like a 4 years old child in the middle of nowhere. It’s time to say goodbye. Oh no I hate goodbyes! Wish there is another word. But it’s time to face the storm. The odium in my heart is just too heavy to carry. Am I going to survive this? Is she going to survive this? Only time! As I moved pass the door I once referred as Heaven's gate, I felt so empty and ashamed of my weeping ego. Yeah am out of Heaven’s gate, let’s see what hell looks like. Maybe hell will just be a perfect place to start. It’s 1am! Am I walking into the dark with no light to direct me to the beginning? It’s worth it! Whatever it takes, I must face the night alone. She just can’t use the night to trap me in this fairy castle. Alas! We will all be just fine.
