“A thought, even a possibility, can shatter and transform us.” Nietzsche
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I want the clouds to be like bouncy cotton
Stop the childhood fantasies from being forgotten
I want the ocean to stain blue
They mark the waves of pain I’ve been put through
I want the lakes to hide monsters
I prefer them over the imposters
I want the grass to breathe life through my feet
To understand choices are sometimes bittersweet
I want the trees to have faces
With age, the feeling of magic is wasted
I want the animals to speak their minds
They seem to be a lot less blind
I want trains to speed into another time
Discover an alternate life dizzy with metaphor and rhyme
I want classical music to be the new pill
For hearts to feel healthy as well as thrilled
I want a den made of sheets to feel like an unbreakable fortress
Be so imaginative that the world feels enormous
I want the butterflies in my stomach to be colorful
A happiness that would make me tearful
I want my poems to be more than visuals in my mind
Manifestations of a greater humankind
I want smiles and loving embraces to heal pain
Spreading love that keeps us all sane
I want to strive for greatness the same way I took my first steps
Viewing life as less daunting and much less complex
I want to live life with humility
I want to tango with possibility
