Let's Go Have a Brew

I don't know why we have to hate The world seems really changed of late I don't know why there's so much fear We're all alike between the ears Us guys so often get it wrong Remind yourself of this old song While storm clouds gather across the sea Let's all be glad our land is free We're always free to live and pray To just say no, to have our say So next time someone threatens you Say “let's go talk and have a brew” There's lots of things that I don't know Don't know why men must come to blows Don't know why men have to die Could you explain the reason why? © Jack Ellison 2013

If everyone had a Dragon they'd be too tired to fight... LOL... I tried the hose and now have hot smoky steam everywhere in my house... I think Grandpa Troll lets the dragon in every morning to watch the fun... you know... entertainment value... I'm thinking about handing the dragon some barbecue sauce and then sending him after Grandpa Troll... NAWWW... He'd probably try to use it on me... Dumb old dragon.

Those are good questions that doesn't have a good answer! I hope and pray that things get better overseas, but I know that it won't, I hate that, I don't want war, but this guy is crazy and threatens many people, we must protect our freedom and the freedom of our allies! Your poem brings up a lot of feelings of grief and fear, you bring to us thoughts of why and how come! Very awesome poem my friend, I enjoyed reading it this morning!
