Let's Break the Rules
Can we skip the part where we have to deal with elders?
I like that
Can we elope to a far away land, land distant from our fathers?
I like that too
I love you, you love me
I love your tribe, you love my tribe
Please don't fear me because am a kikuyu woman
I promise I won't do anything crazy
Ouch those painful news
I will try not to fear your tribe's culture
Thou those burial rituals put me on edge
I love you, you love me
I have questions, you have questions
Are we going to be judged?
Will my mother sit me down for another one on one talk on which tribe I cannot marry into?
Sure, I will just agree with her, but my heart knows what it wants
Will I be shunned? some have gone through this for marrying into the "wrong" tribe
I love you, you love me
I want to be with you only, you want to marry me
Others have done it, and it worked perfectly fine
No different from other "normal marriages"
I think, love has no tribe
