Let Not Thy Heart Be Troubled
To all who in life wander to and fro
If you just stand still and listen, Lo!
You will hear the whispers of the wind
Over the cornfields as it sweeps low.
Look up in the sky at the harvest moon,
In this enchanting silvery night and soon
You will feel much at peace with the world,
And life will seem like a priceless boon.
If you follow the meandering stream
You'll feel floating in the air as in a dream
Frolicking with the free roaming clouds
And scale the towering peaks at whim!
Attune yourself to the sounds of the night,
Fireflies fleeting by flaunting a dazzling sight,
And to those who have no place to go
Seek a home warmed by hearthside light.
Let not thy heart be troubled no matter
Listen to the raindrops pitter-patter
Follow the rolling clouds of monsoon
And see nature reborn by the scent of water!
