Let Me Tell You I Love You

You just missed it, it went past your soul, it stopped to say hello, was just a faint whisper delivered on the breeze, it was only for your delectation to consume as you please. Let me explain what you missed, a fleeting glimpse of a kiss an act to attract your attention a reaching out to tell you I love you. Heck you missed it what am I to do? How can I tell you?, how do I spell it out? How do I expose my love to your endearing soul? Can you hear the real me inside this lost vessel, a body consumed by experience and time? Please look closer let our arms entwine, inside me is a cauldron of burning desire for you my love, let our hearts conspire to an everlasting union fuelled by the burning fire inside. Here it comes again the message I deliver sent with passion and determination, I say again I love you whispered with the intent of a powerful nation of resurgent forces acting as one. Did you hear it ? She smiles the soft focus of a smile, her lips close in for the thrill of the lingering kiss, she said “ I didn't miss it, I heard every word, just wanted you to reinforce your feelings, over again, and when you tell me I feel more contained, hold me closer, don't let it end”. The world stands still time stops moving people pass by as if arranged on slow motion replay, the day has just turned out the best. She said “remember the faint whisper is more powerful than you think, it's everlasting, it's ours”.
