Let It Snow
A sea of white
full and thick with windy flaked snow
falling tiny, quiet, in sharp cold bites,
shutting in those folks, once on the go.
Huddled beneath cozy fleece throws,
savoring coffee, tea, hot chocolate delights
to warm the bodies, watching old television shows.
Souls safe at home each member secure in sight
sharing as the family dynamic regrows.
Though holidays have passed, the joy still ignites
of gathering the love and memories combo.
Let it snow, let it snow, all day and night,
the world seems still and quiet in January shadows
bringing peace and love as we all re-unite.
