Let Go
As you pull your hand
Out of mine
I want to hold tighter
Onto the slipping shine
You will go
But not go alone
You take my smile
And my heart
All I felt
All I could not
Practical and precise
you ended it all
If you ask me
I am still unsure of the call
Because you might
Not be what I deserved
But I certainty will wish you again
if I did it once more
you were
the laugh
and the shout
the tears I could not stop
you are still the reason
I will choose to drop
From grace of skies
Into the pits filled with red
If you are what I will get
I will swallow what was said
I promise myself
Each time I see you
It is the last time I will cry
And it is the end of us two
But this hole keeps
Pulling me back
can you tell me
What was it that I lack?
Why did you go
Is it me?
Because I have tried a lot
to become what you wanted me to be
yet you still turn
and only your shadows stay
will your memories ever leave
will it ever be that day?
When I will wake
Without the bitter taste
Without feeling
That it was all a waste
When I will remember
It wasn’t meant to be
When finally between us
I will choose to choose me.
