Lessons Learned
To commiserate with the blending
Of a place that is mending
From a time not so long ago
At a beginning of letting go
The size of the fortitude
Is bringing one to being lewd
At a tilted place
But yet not falling from grace
But working on a time for being shrewd
And knowing that the night is a bit skewed
Opening up a heart of stone
And finding that a person does not go alone
On the crossing at the ford in the creek
Knowing, one will eventually reach ones peek
So lessons learned
As the torch is passed and will burn
That mortality
Is only a formality
And one will come to grips
That eternity is bliss
