Lesson Learned

Lesson Learned. I never thought I'd hold a wild bird, not once in my short life. It sat and sung a song for me, that she would love me all she could, Then it flew away from me, with a lesson told with strife, Robins and me are meant to be, so you must let her go for good.

Nick, How sad to have to let the things you love, go! I know the feeling. The lessen here is that you must ALWAYS enjoy the journey before you get to the end. Good poem! keep writing. Patty
