Lense of Life
Clear as the sky
Steady as the wind
I stand by the decision
To walk on despite the shadows of remorse
Cascading across time
All I do is get older
Soon I will be out of film
I want to be able to look back and say the scenery was beautiful and still
But as we age something begins to fade
For it be love or an ability to dream
As our eyes wrinkle sights become foggy
Strange
And I ponder what brought me to this still frame
A black and white picture
When there is so much color in the world
I controlled the camera the whole journey through
But forgot to snap those shoots every chance I had
Just to live one moment in peace and pure focus
