Left Wondering
I feel my friendship has been discarded
Tossed aside
My words held no meaning
My words inadequate to the task
She left in the middle of the night
Took her few remaining words
An empty spot
A kind word not received
Encouragement lost
A smile I will not feel
So I must wonder
Were we friends
Was it a game of pretend
In the final analyse a dead end
I am still here
Maybe too far but still near
Willing to listen
I didn't go away
Don't true friends stay
The ones left behind pay
So I'm left with anger
Feeling hurt
So to cope
I'll stop looking here and there
I will try not to care
We invest a lot of our selves with the friends we make on the Soup
a second family of sorts. Becca was like a little sister and a bright spot
in my day. I will miss her, I see this morning her account is gone.
