Leaves have floated into piles, luminous colors for m i l e s and miles; burgundy, burnt orange and yellow, the trees slowly relinquishing SURRENDERING A cool breeze makes them dance, some lay q u i e t some prance and leap; the Autumn sky ever changing, clouds moving and drifting wildly up ABOVE. A blustering cold wind takes them, piles e m p t y where once leaves had been; then the sun shines on a tree, and behold leaves like stained glass WINDOWS. __________________________ August 14, 2012 Poetry/Verse/"Leaves Like Stained Glass Windows" Copyright Protected, ID 12-826-709-0 All Rights Reserved. Autumn leaves -- a beautiful, always changing show. Favorite line, "the trees slowly relinquishing SURRENDERING." :-)
