Learning To Love

Were you the apple of my eye Would you even have to try Die I would to be inside Should I find that you had lied I take my time to see the truth As jealousy can just too uncouth As gentle as you need to be Is the only way to be set free Its your apple take a bite I think that you have every right You do not hurt the ones you love Not even fight or push and shove The beholder can see the eye of beauty To find real love is our true duty Stole my heart like a stealthy fox To hide away in a little wee box I will not move from in my spot And learn to love what I just got Where would I be if set for free I’d be right here as you can see You cannot keep what is not yours Until you do up all of your chores I’ve loved so hard to chase away The ones that I would want to stay What I have learned that we all can No more jealous feelings in this man I learned to love and give out space The joy of love is part the chase You see that I am full of joy I feel just like a little boy Bye for now I’m going to see What my life is bringing me
