Learning How To Love
LEARNING HOW TO LOVE
I want a love that’s different, from every other one.
A kind that keeps me dreaming, and will never make me run.
Every woman wants, a fairytale of her own;
But it’s hard to keep believing, when only lies have been shown.
Love means so much more, than smiles and lots of laughter;
Life has us convinced, it’s happily ever after.
Maybe to most it is, but how are we to know;
How does one let down her walls, when love has left her low?
It may not be so easy, to push burdens aside;
But after all, this is life, and we should enjoy the ride.
We have to get past, every hurt we have been through;
Starting solely with finding, the strength that’s within you.
