"leap of Faith"

There is a bird in the tree that's afraid to fly... Maybe the road from birth to today was a cry... Tattered wings on a angel that's scared to touch and will only stay... Maybe there never was a safety net when one was small and still learning her way... If my hands can hold this little bird and show her that most of the world can be kind... She then can pull those wings away from her eyes and see she is not blind... Your covered heart is getting more scared as days pass and time drifts by... You must take that leap and have faith that God's eyes will over see your ride... So fly my dear bird and sing and dance, show the world you are more than a glance... for M.G.

What a beautiful and inspiring write this is Michael! Sometimes it really depends on having that faith to just step off and we'll find out just how high we can soar! What a touching dedication this is to this special person-- you are a wonderful soul to write this-- btw I hope you don't mind me saying --typo on the word "than" in your last line and maybe an apostrophe for "God's" :)-- keep inspiring people Michael :)-- nikko :)

How kind of you to take this "bird" under your wing and offer support, Michael. We could all use someone like you to stand by us in times of strife. Beautiful poem, my friend, and I will answer your Soup Mail in a moment. Love, Carolyn
