Leaning Over the Kitchen Sink

there i was, standing over the kitchen sink, this is where i began to think, thinking of holding you tight, kissing your head and saying goodnight, wondering if i was your angel what would i do keeping you close watching over you, protect you with all my heart being your angel and never part, maybe one day we will go out, me showing you what dancing's about, strutting my stuff from left to right and the last dance i hold you tight, i will be your angel if we ever part, you are the true one in my heart, keeping you safe and also warm this is love where i am from, still standing over the kitchen sink, here i am still wanting to think, thinking if i held you, maybe i can show you my love is true, good night to you as i must fly god is calling me up in the sky, i will be standing at them big old gates, for my true love i have to wait, when i visit you, you cant see me, leaning over the sink is where i should be; from cups to plates then the knifes, in the kitchen where i lost my life, gave up trying to win this fight, when you come i will be there, sitting at the gates on the kitchen chair, life is cruel as we do know, till we meet again i must now go,,,,,
