Laying Here
Here I lay in my misery. Quiet
and dark I'm left with only my
thoughts. I plot my next move,
but I'm stuck in neutral.
Drifting towards whichever way
you force me. You always
wanted to keep me at an arms
distance away. You wouldn't
accept my hand. I'm coming up
with a plan to leave your
memory behind. I wish it was
as easy to do as it is to say.
I've shed enough tears with
your name on them. I'm
digging a mental grave and
burying you in it. I'll leave it an
unmarked tomb and you can
have that knife you left in my
back. Here I lay in my misery
trying to move on from you!
