Lavender Blue
I'm a woman of many colors.
My color changes to match my mood.
Wavering between tranquility and chaos,
There's a million different shades and hues.
My mind is never filled with just one.
But if I were to choose just one today,
It would be in some shade of blue.
Lavender blue comes to mind right off-
Blue fields of flowers, lavender and peace,
Sunshine, new beginnings, and a breath of fresh air,
Lavender blue diddle, diddle-
But tomorrow my mood might be
Red hot peppers, or white zombie,
Or even jan duke de grey.
