Laughter of Fate

Fate laughs to himself; As I listen to the melody playing within my heart. With kisses of bliss I fall head over heals. And outside my line of vision... blinded by love, He taunts me with the prospect of "true love." But, in my shame, I turn my form in belief that there be no such thing; Tears streaming down my cheeks, and heart torn in disarray. Hand made stitches are needed in the form of self love. "Because" laughing Fate in his mocking tone... "Self-love is the only true love! Foolish and naive Human fantasies to think true love is from another!" In his scorn We know this be truth... True love is within ourselves before love can come from another.

Smile, *^_^* “As A Human Being I Find A Paradox Amid This Wonderfully Reflective Poem, My Dear Precious Lady = Yet, Time Should Allow Myself A Complete Elaboration At The Moment Yet, Tis True In Part, Love Must Begin Within == And I Can See That Your Beauty Would Seem Very Easy to Love Thus, Let Truth Be Your Guide.” === My Love to You Always & Forever, Jasper *

Hey Eliza. I love the message, so true. We must first love ourselves to know how we want to be loved and that becomes the true love we search for. Thanks for the great poem.
