Laughter Brings the Sun
(a Tribute to Anne)
A friend is gone
but I remember
her humorous vein.
I think of her often
and hear her laughter.
It lingers, like the sun.
When the end came
with cancer in her brain,
we prayed for no pain.
Our heavenly Father
extended his grace.
Of pain, there was none.
