Laughter
Can you hear now
The cheery sounds
Laughter endows
In sensuous grounds?
Can you see joy
Prize a new high
In play and ploy
That frolic cries?
Can you see fit
To loiter here
With wholesome wit
That sparks fond cheer?
Can you meet me
In highs and lows
Where we can see
Beyond mere flow?
Can we then sail
Into a dream
Where joy greets trail
As souls hurl theme?
Can life fit zest
In precious peace
That flings the best
In joy's increase?
