A Crow cawed Then a dove Cooed early while Still dark from cloudy Skies on this late winter's Morn, the only gold was the Daffodils' blossoms flashing smiles To the star magnolia's delicate Star shaped blooms seeking a friend before spring

a beautifully written poem, Sara K. I love how you transitioned from late winter to early spring. Our daffodils are flashing smiles; their 'friends' are the nearby tulips. Your poem reminds me that spring is close by. A lovely read. Have a pleasant evening, Sara B.

Dear Sara, Your poem in the shape of a pine tree is beautiful! It truly captures the essence of the season's transition, starting with the starkness of late winter and culminating in the hopeful anticipation of spring. It feels like we're climbing out of winter and reaching towards the sunnier days ahead. You are so creative. - Blessings, Daniel

Aren't we glad that we do get the transition of seasons so that we don't get stuck in prolonged winter or a hot, humid summer. Your kind review of my work is uplifting. We need all the blessings we can get. Sara K

Ann-Lise, I can imagine the longing is even greater in a climate where you live. We are blessed with mild winters most years. Sometimes a lot of cold rain and northerly breezes or easterly breezes. Your visit with the smiley face and kind reviews are always welcome. Sara K
