Late Night Wondering

She Was So Easy to Talk to And Things Were Bad at Home. She Was So Easy to Love, With Her I Was Never Alone. I Fell for Her So Hard, And I Know She Loved Me Too. But I Destroyed All She Was, When I Broke Her Heart in Two. Things Got Better at Home, And I Told Her I Couldn't Leave. I Hurt Her More than She Could Stand, And Now for Her I Grieve. I Told Her That I Loved Her, But She Wanted More than That. She Wanted Us to Be Together, But I Just Turned My Back. Now She's Gone out of My Life And I Feel So All Alone. Sometimes I Wonder Late at Night... Are Things So Good at Home? Connie Moore

Connie, this is a beautifuly put together poem. I can really "read" so, so much "between the lines." I have a girlfriend who you could have written this for. She is alone. He is married... but he decided he'd better try to make it work at home....I don't know, but I "wonder"....could this have been written for/about them? WoW! Anyway I love the whole thing.
