Lastings
No one knows how to make things last
Every other thing is always new
I do know however what is forever... that is the past
Now that we know... If only we knew
Those who knew... change
Those who do not... changes still
Nothing can ever be the same
Can you ever identify what’s real?
And as always we forever need
Cause change strive us to remember what we lack
We are our troubles we forever seek
And too seldom we recognize the very fact
Do I need to outsmart you to feel better?
Do I need to love you more to be a champion?
Don’t everything have always a competitor?
Don’t everything just have to have a solution?
There is to be nothing I would ask
Simply cause everything as always is something new
No one knows how to make things last
Simply flowing as we know and never knew
