Last Night
Last night the moon
had cause to blush,
a far too
passionate kiss
even by moon standards
deepening to a scarlet red
something the couple had
also said
such warmth
such embrace
with a full heated face
moon asking the sun
for hour more of grace
let the young lovers believe
in forever....
