Revelation 22:12 (KJV) “And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.” In the stillness of the dawn, Abides a gentle that can’t be wrong, Before the night has really gone, Engulfing my spirit in His sweet song. Blushing with love I yearn to pass on, Promising me that I truly belong, He has blessed me with joy and hope, Fulfilled my heart so I know I can cope. In the silence of the shadow’s expression, I feel the wonder of knowing true love, One who abides in my heart’s confession, So there is no reason to kick or shove, His light will surely leave a sweet impression, Because His wonder comes down from above, He has blessed my soul with His kindness, Opening my eyes where there was blindness. In the serenity of the peaceful rhymes, Comes a hope, a prayer, a praise that delights, Abiding inside where it eases the hard times, Moving the spirit to shine in the darkest nights, Breathing love to His own despite their crimes, Pouring out warmth across the lonely twilights, In the rustling of a wind, where He glows, Fulfilling hopes and dreams of those He chose. In the quiet, we find the truth of a King who arose, Melodies captivate the soul with endless insight, Pouring out wonders from knowing He is close, Abiding in the believer He has made snow white, With the blood He pours over the life who knows… His gift of salvation feeds the weary soul with right, Who frees the sinner from their fear of death, Assuring He’ll be there when we take our last breath.

Dearest Gina, there is such a calm assurance in your carefully chosen words expressing your deep faith - God's presence in silence, in shadows and in stillness. This is a lovely poem, dear friend. Sending you blessings and a big hug!

beautifully constructed poem, dear Gina. You continue to amaze me with your ability to rhyme so effectively and still get across your message. The last line offered reassurance...'he'll be there when we take our last breath." Have a splendid week ahead, hugs and blessings, Sara
