Last Acts
How heat of sultry summer's eve consumes me.
Feisty bloody crimson glow ignites a flaming skyline;
dusk radiant decorates the golden amber melt.
Performance interrupted only by whistling voice.
Westward night cloud drifts, a gentle floaty dream.
A melody of feathered choirs gather -
fatigued; vanishing into the moonlight to slumber.
Delightful promise of attractive sunrise.
