Ladybird
Pray tell haven't you heard
Of a well known legend named Lady Bird
Whom, they say, never ever spoke a word
Soon after she became one of the undead
In the midst of an ominous moon blood red
She sported a halo above her head
When she awoke from her dreams
Upon her back she'd sprouted wings
To fly away from all the evil things
Feathers of down like a blanket of snow
Glistening petals so icy and cold
While all around her aura aglow
She carries a lantern in her claw
Looking around in majestic awe
And marveled at all that she saw
As she set out to fly on her own
Gracefully she carries her hollow bones
Singing the silent yet deafening tones
Among all there is to see
She flies about unhindered and free
If she closes her eyes and just
Believes
