Lady Love Sleep
Sleep tight my lady love
I am here and still afraid
The stars shining so high above
Sweet dreams so far away
The silence is deafening as
I lie awake thinking bout life
Have I lived ,have I really
ever lived at all
Is there life after this or
In the end will I wither away
To a great big zero
Or nothing at all
I'm seeking something
From you that I cannot escape
This love still burning for me
After all of these years
