Ladies of the Field

They walk upon the grassy field Flowers grow with bright blooms to yield They wear wide hats from sun they'll shield And watch sailors with tools they wield As their Scottish men explore Above the cliffs once filled with stone They'll see the ships of sails wind blown To travel far to lands unknown Beyond the Scottish shore

Oh my..perfect! ..I guess Ive missed your latest posts, but glad I saw this one. Im working on mine but having trouble with the meter..I am horrible at that. BG

thank you Barbara, but the reality is I've never done well in his contests, maybe one day...and..you are not horrible with meter, trust what you write, no poem is perfect
