Label Me

Tired of everyone playing all there silly games Callin me and labeling me all these names They call me a thug they call me a player When all in all they themselves don't have a prayer They are quick to judge when they don't know me What have I ever done to them why don't they let me be I walk down the street hear what they say Why don't they say it to my face come out and play Since the day I was born I was looked down upon on From the way I dressed and also looked I still stand strong But people still try to punch me down call me what they can They try to break me down from being a man Why so much disapproval of me what have I done I never thought being human can hurt or being one of gods sons I've prayed to god to forgive me for all my deadly sins He has resurrected me now with a better life to begin So now I stand strong as I brush off my shoulder No longer getting younger getting a lil bit older I have knowledge on my side this world is not a dream Listen to me now as I voice my power and begin to scream Label me what you want to label me I'm not going no where I am what I am no matter what you think or even tend to care I come from a humble home where everyone is respected But cross us the wrong way you will be corrected Since I been young I have fought to be where I am now Look thru these eyes and see its an epic performance as I take a bow I have struggled thru thick and thin bled my own blood and tears Had broken bones and all thru all these years Label me if you must label me is what I must say to the rest No matter what words or names I'm called I'm still here standing tall and blessed I don't care what you call me next but I will make it come to an end Either come clean and grow up keep walking or be a friend Enemies are a dime a dozen and I let them all just be So I stand now in silence and ask why do you all label me
